Cliff L. Ricketts

Cliff L. Ricketts, 75, of Meadville, died at home Thursday, June 24, 1982, after a sudden illness.

He was born at Meadville April 9, 1907, a son of Frank L. and Christine Bresee Ricketts.  He married Marian G. Cutshall.  She died November 20, 1980.

Mr. Ricketts was employed at Talon as a chemical engineer until his retirement.  He graduated from Allegheny College, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Chruch, Crawford Masonic Lodge 234, Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie, Crawford County Shrine Club, Erie Consistory, Meadville Aerie 429, Meadville Elks Lodge 219, Italian Civic Club, Taylor Hose Club, West Mead 2 VFD, Meadville Sportsmen's Club and Fifth Ward and Vallonia Old Timers' Assn.

He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Ellen Gallagher of Meadville and Mrs. Mary Kutulakis of Carlisle and a nephew, Tom Case of Toledo, OH.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
