Clifford J. Seaman, 73, was an avid motorcycle rider, member of the Oil City Cycle Club, and an avid hunter.
Seaman, of Tidioute, formerly of Meadville, died Thursday, June 30, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Guys Mills, October 9, 1920, son of Otto J. and Mabel Lord Seaman. He married Bettie Ross, October 20, 1941. She survives.
He was a member of the Retreads and Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars. A 1941 graduate of Meadville High School, Seaman was a veteran of World War II and served with the US Army in the Philippines.
He retired in 1987 from the maintenance department of Dad's Products after 18 years. He previously was employed by Burkhardt Sheet Metal.
He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church of Tidioute.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Valerie Klett and Robert Allen, both of Meadville and Sandra Saavedra of Beaver Falls; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Arnold of Camarillo, CA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Leda Pinney.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Brigid Cemetery.
