Clinton G. Smith

Clinton G. Smith, 67, of Meadville, was pronounced dead on arrival at City Hospital Tuesday, September 12, 1978.

Born in East Mead Township, October 25, 1910, he was a son of George W. and Emma Stork Smith.  He married Mabel Wolff June 17, 1936.  Following 32 years of service, he retired from Talon Division of Textron in 1973 as a shipping clerk.  He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of the board of trustees of Blooming Valley Cemetery Assn.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a sister, Mrs. Louis (Florence) McCleery of Meadville; two brothers, William M. Smith of Meadville and Woodrow W. Smith of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
