Clyde Arthur Smith

Clyde Arthur Smith, 70, of Guys Mills, died at City Hospital Monday, December 30, 1963, after a week's illness.

A son of Frank and Jane Jennings Smith, he was born March 13, 1883, in Wayne Township.  His wife, the former May Margaret Williams, whom he married September 25, 1919, preceded him in death.

Mr. Smith was a farmer.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Shaffer of Meadville; three sons, Arden L. of Greensburg, Richard A. of Guys Mills and Clyde E. at Home; two sisters, Miss Gertrude and Miss Blanche Smith, both of Niagara Falls, NY and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Townley Cemetery, Richmond Township.
