Clyde D. Hellyer

Clyde D. Hellyer, 69, of Meadville, died suddenly Saturday, February 9, 1963, at his home.

He was born in Wayne, OH, June 9, 1893, a son of William D. and Dora Phillips Hellyer.  He married Ruth McKenzie October 30, 1912.  She died August 15, 1962.  He was a locomotive engineer for the New York Central Railroad.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Rex G. (Martha) Payne of Meadville, Mrs. Charles W. (Billie) Hawbaker of Zelienople, Mrs. Robert E. (Barbara) Ott of South Dayton, NY and Miss Darryll Hellyer at home; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Long of Albion, Mrs. Bessie Maltman of Toledo, OH and Mrs. Faye Seiple of Cleveland; a brother, Philip J. Hellyer of Albion; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
