Clyde Isaac Mann, 75, of Meadville, died Sunday, June 9, 1968 at City Hospital after an illness of several years.
He was born at Greenville, February 23, 1893, a son of Isaac O. and Mary Ellen Menold Mann. He retired in 1959 as a conductor for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad Co. Mr. Mann was an Army veteran of World War I, serving in Europe as a wagoner for Evacuation Ambulance Company No. 11. He was a member of Harm Jan Huidekoper Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Meadville Barracks of World War I Veterans. He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow, the former Stella Braneon, whom he married in 1923; a daughter, Mrs. Jack W. (Yvonne) Phenix of Lincoln, NE; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Rauschenberg of Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Hazel Daggett of New York City and Mrs. G. C. (Pauline) Hoey of Greenville; three grandchildren, Jack, Michael and Becky Phenix and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
