Connie Phillips

Mrs. Connie Phillips, 65, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Monday, July 18, 1977.

She was born at Elmira, NY, November 22, 1911, daughter of T. Wrayburn and Genevieve Alger Keeton.  She married Dr. Glen Phillips in 1942.  He died in November 1972.

Mrs. Phillips was employed for eight and a half years as executive secretary at Hillside Home.  She previously was a registered dietician at Johns-Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD and at Edgewood School, Greenwich, CT.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church; a 1935 graduate of Elmira College, Elmira, NY; a graduate of a dietetics course at Johns-Hopkins Hospital; a former board member of Hillside Home; a member of Meadville Garden Club and a member of the Women's Literary Club.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Thomas W. (Helen) Keeton of Elmira, NY.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Wellsville Cemetery, NY.
