Constance C. (Connie) Cantelupe, 55, of Meadville, died at home Thursday, March 3, 2011.
She was born in Sharon September 7, 1955, a daughter of the late Vernon and Sarah "Sally" Mason Cantelupe.
She was a graduate of the Race Street School for Exceptional Children and was very active at the ARC of Crawford County, their Oasis Club and their drop in center. She worked at Vallonia Industries and also at KFC in Meadville. She was a member of St. Brigid Church. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved going to the Meadville Public Library, traveling, swimming and going to the beach.
Connie shared her home with Kathy Lee and family for 20 years with whom she was especially close.
She is survived by a brother, James Cantelupe of Youngstown, OH; a niece, Nicole Jones of Georgia; and a nephew, Cory Cantelupe of Rhode Island.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Travis, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
