Constance B. (Connie) Hayes

Constance B. (Connie) Hayes, 71, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, October 30, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mrs. Hayes was born in Markleville, IN, January 10, 1917, a daughter of James M. and Kathryn Bird Lewis.  She married Roy E. Hayes July 5, 1947.  He preceded her in death November 22, 1986.

She had been employed at the former Win-Tronics of Meadville for 10 years.

Survivors include three sons, James Tomey of Malden, MA, Francis Hayes of Guys Mills and Michael Hayes of Piedmont, SC; one sister, Helen Pipper of Chesterfield, IN; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Wilson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
