Constance Louise Ackerman, 76, of Venango passed away at home, April 26th, 2019. She was born in Meadville, September 5th, 1942, the daughter of Gilbert George and Edith May Anthony Ackerman.
Constance had lived with her late brother, Ronald P. Ackerman, Sr. for most of her life. After his passing, her niece, Melinda Furry and her husband David took Constance under their wing. Constance helped babysit and raised her many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She enjoyed spending her time watching television. Some of Constance’s favorite shows included The Golden Girls, MASH, and The Cosby Show. Her favorite show to watch was In the Heat of the Night. She especially loved the character Bubba.
Constance was known for her contagious smile and flirty manner. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Melinda Furry and her husband David of Venango; several great-nieces and nephews; and a brother, Gary Shellenberger of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Martha; brothers, Ronald P. Ackerman, Sr., Eddie Shellenberger, and Abe Ackerman; and a nephew, Larry Ackerman.
Private services will be held by the family.
