Cora B. Pease

Miss Cora B. Pease, 82, of Meadville, died at Mead Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 15, 1971, after an illness of several weeks.  She had been a patient at the home for three weeks.

Miss Pease was born in East Mead Township, August 4, 1889, a daughter of Walter J. and Gertrude Ewing Pees.  She was employed for nearly 50 years by the Carpenter Electric Co.  Miss Pease attended Stone United Methodist Church.  She was a graduate of Blooming Valley schools and Edinboro State Normal School.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Rosin and Mrs. Edwin A. (Florence) Finney, both of East Lansing, MI; a niece, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) DenHerder of Holland, MI and two nephews, Robert W. Pease of Meadville and Paul E. Finney of Bloomfield Heights, MI.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
