Cora Dearborn

March 13, 1907 — March 25, 1980

Mrs. Cora Dearborn Robinson, 73, of Guys Mills, wife of Raymond R. Robinson, died Tuesday, March 25, 1980, at City Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born at Saegertown on March 13, 1907, daughter of Verner F. and Emma Smith.  She married Robinson in 1924.

She was a licensed practical nurse and had worked for the United Methodist Home and the former Flickinger Convalescent Home.  She had worked as sales clerk at the former Marquette Furniture Store at Shryock's/

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Wilma) Smith of Guys Mills; four sons, Gary of Linesville, Earl of Granite Falls, WA, Stanley of Santa Monica, CA and Verner of Lockhart, TX; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Montgomery of Meadville; a brother, Dudly Dearborn of Grove City; a half brother, Gordon Dearborn of Meadville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a half-brother and a half sister.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Denny Cemetery.
