Cora E. Flickenger

Cora E. Flickenger, 87, died Wednesday, October 17, 1979, at Peaceful Rest Nursing Home, Cochranton, where she had been a patient for the past six months.

She was born in East Mead Township, June 15, 1892, daughter of Charles A. and Georgianna Rabell Smith.  She was employed for many years at Allegheny College in the food service department.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Wygant of Meadville; a son, Arnold Noble of Girard; two grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
