Cora E. Morris

Mrs. Cora E. Morris, 67, of Meadville, died Wednesday, January 22, 1958, at the Smith Institute where she had been a patient for two months.

She was born August 11, 1890, in the Hunter Hill area, a daughter of Eli and Ada Morse Brandon.  She was married to Clinton R. Morris on May 10, 1909.  He died April 13, 1957.

She lived for many years in the Guys Mills area before moving to Woodcock Township were she had lived in Cole Road for the past 20 years.

She was a member of Woodcock Valley Ladies Aid Society.

Surviving are seven children, Marian Toppo of Long Beach, CA, Dorothy Stone of Saegertown, Merle R. Morris of Girard, OH, Wilfred L. of Long Beach, Robert C. of Orroville, CA, Wayne M. of Waterford and Gerald L. of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Anna Holton of Meadville and nine grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
