Craig H. Greenlee, 91 of Sandy Lake, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2019 at the VA Assisted Living in Butler. Craig was born on February 5, 1928 in Franklin to the late Floyd W. and Viola Plowman Greenlee. Craig attended school in Sandy Lake and joined the United States Army after 8th grade. He was stationed in Korea during World War II. He later on earned a certificate from Penn State. He was a member of the Sandy Lake Rotary, the VFW Jesse G. Greer #1835 in Franklin, and Harrisville American Legion #852. He was also a member of Sandy Lake Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and was a church Elder as well as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Craig enjoyed spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking. He loved nature and spent as much time as he could in the woods. He also enjoyed playing cards with his late wife and family. He was a family man and loved them dearly. Craig married his beloved wife Lenora Jean Greenlee on November 24, 1948, she preceded him in death on February 15, 2018. He loved his wife and missed her dearly this past year. Craig is survived by three children, Sandy (Dave) Bachman, Jackson Center, Michael (Brenda) Greenlee, Cochranton, and Carol (Bruce) Hoffman, Millbrook, where he was currently living, daughter in law Christine Greenlee-Sammons, Cape Coral, FL, sisters Beverly (Roy) Wimer, Greenville, and Geraldine Ritz, San Diego, CA, 7 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 31 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. In addition to his parents and wife, Craig was preceded in death by his son Reverend Dr. Terry L. Greenlee, 8 siblings, one infant grandchild, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. The family will have a private service with the Pastor Pat Confer, retired pastor, Officiating. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery where Craig will receive Full Military Honors.
