Craig Martin, 63, of Saegertown, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 5, 2018 at home.
He was born October 22, 1954 in Meadville, a son of Donald and Martha Martin. He married Karen Burdick April 23, 1993 and she survives.
Craig was a 1972 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and attended Slippery Rock University. He was also a member of Cursillo 131.
Craig was employed by Carnation Can Company for 4 years. He then worked for Northwestern REC, where he continued to work until his passing, as a chief lineman and then as a chief maintenance man.
Craig enjoyed fishing, dogs, boating, and water skiing. He vacationed to Canada yearly with his mom, dad and sisters in his earlier years where he enjoyed these activities most. He also loved spending time along French Creek, where he resided. He was devoted to taking care of himself, going to the gym daily.
He is survived by his wife Karen; his daughters, Kelli L. Martin (Joe), Brittany R. Martin, Heather L. Moles (Bryan), and Jodi L. Avalos (Ron); as well as his two precious grandsons, Ronan and Conor Moles who so fondly referred to him as Papa; and his sister, Brenda R. Kretser (Greg).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Martha Martin and his sister, Carrie Anna Headley.
Close friends and family may attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, 634 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs with the Rev. James Callender, Pastor Officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of God, 634 Venango Ave. or St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25812 Mount Pleasant Rd., both of Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
