Cynthia "Cindy" Lou Swingle

Cynthia “Cindy” Lou Swingle, 68, of Jefferson Township, Mercer, passed away on October 23, 2022 at her residence.

Cindy was born in Grove City, PA on May 17, 1954, a daughter of the late Frank A. and Ethel J. McAnallen Kish. She attended Lakeview Schools. For many years, she worked for the Wall Street Journal in Sharon, PA.

Cindy enjoyed gardening and spending time in her flower shop making floral arrangements. Cindy was of the Methodist faith and attended Big Bend Church in Mercer.

On June 28, 1986 she married her beloved husband, William Edward “Swing” Swingle; he preceded her in death on November 22, 2021.

Survivors left to cherish Cynthia’s memory are her son, James G. Higbee of Mercer; a sister Lydia “Buffy” (Todd) Teets; and a brother Frank T. (Dawn) Kish; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Chuck Kish, and sister Karen Sue (Kish) Slater.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., of Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
