Cyrenius G. Judd, 84, of Los Alamos, NM, formerly of Meadville, died at St. Vincent Hospital, Santa Fe, Tuesday, April 23, 1974, after a two-year illness. He had lived at Meadville until 1959.
A son of Ernest C. and Martha B. Robins Judd, he was born at West Spring Creek, Warren County, September 19, 1889. He married Ina L. Dahl March 31, 1914. She died in 1948. A registered plumber, he was employed by Talon Division of Textron. A charter member and first president of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 744 of Meadville, he also served as the local's financial secretary-treasurer.
He was associated with the United Methodist Church.
He belonged to a number of professional and social organizations and clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William C. (Wilma) Moxley of Los Alamos, NM; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Anderson of Titusville and Mrs. Clarence Wright of Erie; three step granddaughters; several step great-grandchildren and several step great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
