Mrs. Daisy B. Grafinger, 96, formerly of Sharon, a resident of the United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital since May 1971, widow of Philip W. Grafinger, died at the United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital Wednesday, December 29, 1982, after a long illness.
Mrs. Grafinger was born in New Castle, November 12, 1886, daughter of Nelson and Emma Campbell Foltz. She married Mr. Grafinger September 6, 1911. He died December 18, 1963.
Mrs. Grafinger was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sharon and of its United Methodist Women group. She was a charter member of Women's Christian Temperence Union, Sharon.
Survivors include a daughter, Emma Mae Burkland of Youngstown; two sons, Edward L. Grafinger of Hermitage and Louis N. Grafinger of Wellsley Hills, MA; a sister, Mrs. Althea Gwinn of Meadville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Oak Park Cemetery.
