Daisy E. Ordwein

Mrs. Daisy E. Ordwein, 89, of Crawford County Home and Hospital, Saegertown, widow of Charles Ordwein, died Monday, March 17, 1980, following an extended illness.

She was born in East Mead Township, August 6, 1890, daughter of Frank P. and Lillian Briggs Smith.  Ordwein died February 17, 1970.  She had lived in Blooming Valley from 1921 to 1968 and at the county home since 1968.

She was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church and a charter member of its United Methodist Women.  She was a former member of Blooming Valley Cemetery Aux.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gladys Wolff of Blooming Valley and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
