Daisy I. Blackhurst

Mrs. Daisy I. Blackhurst, 59, widow of James H. Blackhurst, of Meadville, died at City Hospital, Monday, March 11, 1985, after a brief illness.

She was born in Meadville, June 17, 1925, a daughter of William C. and Glennie Saunders Snodgrass.  She married James H. Blackhurst, February 10, 1946.  He died July 17, 1981.

She was affiliated with the Community Church, N. Main Street.

Survivors include two sons, James Blackhurst, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and John Blackhurst of Harborcreek; a daughter, Mrs. Milton (Dianne) Pertl of Girard; her mother, Mrs. Glennie Saunders Sell of Meadville;  and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby and Fern and two brothers, William and Alfred.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
