Daisy Johnson

Mrs. Daisy Johnson, 86, of Meadville, died early this morning, Friday, February 24, 1967, at City Hospital.  She had been in ill health for eight years.

She was born in Venango County on August 24, 1880, a daughter of Robert J. and Sarah Van Dresser Armstrong.  She married Morton J. Daniels in 1900.  He died in 1917.  She then married Carl B. Johnson in 1950.  He died in 1952.

She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and Meadville Grange.

Survivors, in addition to a daughter, Mrs. Leolah (Lee) Hurd, with whom she lived, include two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Two daughters, Mrs. Wesley (Lila) Williams and Mrs. Harry (Florence) Grove, preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Chapmanville Cemetery.
