Daniel C. Ernst

Daniel C. Ernst, 68, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, January 10, 1999 at his winter residence in Clewiston, FL following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Meadville, July 16, 1930, a son of the late Charles W. and Charlotte Klippel Ernst.  He married Ruby L. Jones in 1977.  She survives.

He was employed with his father as a housing contractor for many years.  He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ; Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Department; Crawford Lodge #234; Solomon Royal Arch Chapter #191; and Northwestern Commandery #25.  He was a life member of Zem Zem Shrine Temple, Erie and Crawford County Shrine Club.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two stepsons, John M. (Mike) Quinlan of Edinboro and William H. (Bill) Quinlan (Tammy) of Kauai, HI; three step-grandchildren, Daniel , Joshua and Micha Quinlan; and a niece, Linda Hager of Austin, TX.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles F. Ernst.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
