Daniel E. Demaison

Daniel E. DeMaison, 69, of Littles Corners, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at his residence.

He was born February 16, 1939 in Meadville, a son of the late Kenneth L. and Helen Heme DeMaison.  He married Susan Smith January 10, 1964.

He was a 1957 graduate of Meadville High School and attended the former Alliance College, Cambridge Springs.  A U.S. Army Veteran from 1961-1962, he worked at Talon as a Tool and Die Maker for 30 years.  He is a life-member and past director of the Pioneer Gas and Steam Engine Society and enjoys antique tractors, camping, fishing, and boating.

He is of the Protestant faith.

He has 3 children, Jeffrey James DeMaison and his wife Sharon of Meadville, Kevin Charles DeMaison and his wife Paula of Meadville, and Sheryl Ann Paiani and her husband Bob of Manassas, VA; 3 sisters, Dorothy Hansen and her husband Jens of Bountiful, UT, Beverly Riggins of Murrieta, CA, and Marilyn Gurgiola and her husband Anthony of Wexford; 9 grandchildren, Giovanni Paiani, Alexander DeMaison, Austin Scott, Amber Scott, Anthony Severo, Andrew Severo, Douglas Alexander, Joshua Alexander, and Gregory Alexander; and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Littles Corners United Methodist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Tom Kennedy, Pastor officiating.

Interment will be in Denny Cemetery.
