Daniel R. Mattocks

Daniel R. Mattocks, 70, of 16978 Berkshire Drive, Meadville died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Meadville May 12, 1937 a son of Daniel Mattocks and Helen Waid Mattocks Betts.  He married Judi McKale his companion since 1971 on December 28, 1995 and she survives.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army in Germany and he enjoyed golfing, bowling and loved his years spent in Florida.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Judi, include: five sons, Doug Mattocks and his wife Nicole of Linesville, Scott Mattocks and his wife Rose of Cleveland, OH, Michael Mattocks of Detroit, MI, Mark Mattocks of San Diego, CA and Kevin Mattocks of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Margaret Johnston and her husband Ted of Meadville; four brothers, Kenneth Mattocks and his wife Betty of Conneaut Lake, James Mattocks and his wife Dee of Erie, Charles Mattocks and his wife Mary of Washington, DC and Arthur Mattocks and his wife Alice of Tacoma, WA; two grandchildren Megan Mattocks and Benjamin Mattocks and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service for family and friends will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Watson Run Presbyterian Church, 13594 Harmonsburg, Road, Meadville.  A dinner reception will follow in the church social hall.
