Daniel R. Mullen

Daniel R. Mullen, 63, of Conneaut Lake, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born July 31, 1951 in Erie a son of Charles F. and Donna J. Andrews Mullen.  He was a 1969 graduate of Meadville High School and a graduate of Alliance College with a degree in accounting.  He worked as an internal auditor at Naples Hospital in Naples, FL.

While in high school he played football, French horn, and sang in the choir.  He was a Meadville Community Ambassador to Denmark and was the 1966 Meadville Soap Box Derby Champion.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and was loved by his family.  He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Donna Mullen of Meadville; two brothers, David Mullen of McKenney, VA and Dale Mullen of Meadville; a sister, Dawn Muntean of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his fiancée, Wendy Davis.

Private family services will be held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
