Darlene Ann Bradshaw

Darlene Ann Bradshaw, 84, of Meadville, died at home Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

She was born September 24, 1938, in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of George C. and Emma C. Ronsky Leimbach.  She married Stanley E. Bradshaw November 10, 1956, and he preceded her in death September 6, 2017.

Darlene was a 1956 graduate of Saegertown High School.  She worked on The Bradshaw farm with her husband for 60 years.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, and raising her children and grandchildren.

She was a long-time member of State Road United Methodist Church where she served as a pianist, Sunday School teacher, and was president of it’s United Methodist Women, until it closed in 1990.  She subsequently became a member of Pleasantview Alliance Church.

Survivors include five children, David Bradshaw of Meadville, Stephen Bradshaw of Meadville, Diane Beatty (David) of Meadville, Joe Bradshaw (Sharon) of Sarasota, FL, and Rick Bradshaw (Jolene) of San Diego, CA; fourteen grandchildren, Kira Bradshaw, Megan Bradshaw (Tony DePaulo), Sarah Good (David), Jessica Hannold, Brittany Beatty, Kelsey Zimmerman (Nate), Kyle Beatty (Allison), Ben Bradshaw, Sam Bradshaw, Emily Gunawan (Indra), Isabelle Pierce (Timmy), Parker Bradshaw, Logan Bradshaw, and Bruce Bradshaw; six great grandchildren, Katie Ann Hannold, Charlie Good, Thomas Good, Oscar DePaulo, Jedediah Gunawan, and Madeline Zimmerman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel Miller Bradshaw; two sisters, Ruth Klinginsmith and Linda Meehan; two brothers, Richard Leimbach (Laura Mae) and Roger Leimbach (Anne); and a daughter-in-law, Darlene M. Bradshaw.

A memorial service will be Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 State Hwy 86, Saegertown, PA with Joseph Bradshaw, son, officiating and dinner to follow.

Private interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 State Hwy 86, Saegertown, PA 16433.
