Darrell A. Delong

Darrell A. DeLong, 94, formerly of Second St., Meadville and a current resident of Rolling Fields, Conneautville, died there Wednesday, August 21, 2002.

He was born in Marion, OH January 19, 1908, a son of Willis Allen and Mary Ann Brady DeLong.  He married Ruth Hall and she preceded him in death October 18, 1988

He was a graduate of Marion High School, Marion, OH and he retired as Supervisor of Scales and Automotive Equipment at the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.  He was also of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don DeLong.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service will be Thursday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Rolling Fields, 9108 State Hwy. #98, Conneautville with the Rev. Lea Guiney, Pastor of Littles Corners United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
