David A. Keas, 72, of Conneaut Lake died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at UPMC Hamot, Erie.
He was born in Franklin, PA, January 24, 1949 a son of Gene Leroy Keas and Donna J. Grill. He married Susan Anderson in 1985 and she survives.
He was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School and worked as a tool and die maker for several area tool shops before opening and operating his own business, Edge Tool and Die in Conneaut Lake. He was an avid golfer, playing in several golf leagues and also enjoyed hunting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Susan of 35 years, include: five children, Jeff Keas (Darla) of Conneautville, Ben Keas (Melanie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tressa Keas of Conneaut Lake, Rebecca Keas of Pittsburgh and Sara Keas (Eric) of Conneaut Lake; eight grandchildren, Reanna, Triston, Kerrington, Lane, Bella, Liam, Sawyer and Avery; two sisters, Christina Keenan (Jay) and Teresa McElhattan (Curtis) both in Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 27th from 4-5 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Bobin, Pastor of Littles Corners United Methodist Church, officiating. Masking and social distancing per CDC guidelines will be followed.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Conneaut Lake Vol. Fire Dept., 11877 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
