David A. Tuthill, 55, of Sandy Lake, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Grove City Medical Center. David was born on May 31, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA to David F. Tuthill and Mary McKean Tuthill. He was a graduate of Fox Chapel High School and went on to earn his Associates Degree in HVAC from Triangle Tech. He worked for several years in HVAC as well as a handyman and jack of all trades. David was a member of Trout Unlimited and Ducks Unlimited. He loved the outdoors and was an excellent trapper and trout fisherman. He traveled across the United States trapping and fishing and made many dear friends along the way. David is survived by his companion of over 25 years, Lauri Frederick, his father David F. Tuthill and wife Dorrit of Pittsburgh, his mother Mary McKean Tuthill of Bradenton, FL, his brother Andrew F. Tuthill and wife Jennifer of Kentfield, CA, a loving uncle to his nieces Charlotte and Gabrielle, brother-in-law Jim Frederick and companion Lisa, and mother and father-in-law Larry and Donna Frederick of New Castle, several nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Homes Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
