David B. (Burt) Anderson, 88, Livermore Road, Meadville, who at one time drove a Meadville Laundry horse wagon, died at City Hospital Thursday, October 17, 1957. He was admitted to the hospital after he had fallen down a flight of steps at the Market House on October 3rd. Anderson was born April 20, 1869, a son of Alexander and Mary Patterson Anderson at Fairview Township, Mercer County. He was married to the late Kaiza Smith who died in 1949. In addition to his employment with laundry company, Anderson also worked for the Erie Railroad and Phoenix Iron Works. He also operated a sawmill and was a farmer for some time. He was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maude McConnell of Cochranton; three sons, Homer of Meadville, Rex of Dayton, OH, and Virgil of Buffalo; a sister, Mrs. Alta Campbell of Titusville; a brother, Curtis of Greenville; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Phillips of First Christian Church. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Services Past Services
