David Bradley Stewart, 40, of Brookville, PA and formerly of Byllesby Ave., Meadville, PA died Friday, October 19, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born in Meadville, January 6, 1967 a son of Kenneth N. and Anne Williams Stewart, Sr.
He worked in various capacities for the Penn Traffic Co. for the past 20 years. He was Assistant Manager or Manager at the companies Bi-Lo, Quality or Riverside Stores in Meadville, Johnstown, Blairsville, Natrona Heights and Brookville at various times. He also oversaw store expansions and remodeling in the western Pennsylvania and New York areas.
He was a 1984 graduate of Meadville High School and a 1988 graduate of Hiram College. He enjoyed his work and his pets.
He is survived by his mother, Anne Stewart of Meadville; a brother, Kenneth N. Stewart, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Meadville; a sister, Elizabeth Stewart-Marshall and her husband Peter of Kaneohe, HI; two aunts, Lois Williams of Berwyn Heights, MD and Jean Lynch of Baden, PA; a nephew, Jeremy Marshall and six cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth N. Stewart, Sr.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
Funeral services will be private for the family.
