David C. Miller, 53, of McFadden Road, Guys Mills, PA died at home Friday, August 30, 2002.
He was born in Meadville November 30, 1948 a son of the late J. Conrad and Verna McNamara Miller. He married Carol Proper Turner and she survives.
He was a math teacher at Maplewood High School for 34 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Saegertown High School and he received his BS and MS degrees in education from Westminster College. He was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, woodworking, the outdoors and helping other people.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Carol, include a daughter, Kim Ryan and her husband Rob of Guys Mills; a son, Kevin Turner and his wife Kimberly of Guys Mills; a brother, John C. Miller and his wife Janet of Woodcock; four grandchildren, Cory Turner, Jordan Turner, Kendra Turner and Camille Ryan; two uncles and several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held for the family at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with the Rev. Allen Jones, officiating.
Burial will be in Wayland Cemetery.
