David "Dave" L. Galentine

David “Dave” L. Galentine, 66 of Stoneboro, passed away on July 23, 2019 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Dave was born on December 14, 1952 in Grove City to the late Clair and Velma Stamp Galentine. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and worked as a mechanic for many years. Dave married his beloved wife, Lauri McGill Galentine on December 8, 1973, she survives at home. Dave loved being outdoors and enjoyed cutting wood and mowing grass. He enjoyed his work and would always be working on cars and tractors. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and was always there to help. In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by his sons, David Galentine of Stoneboro, Daniel Galentine and wife Nikol of Pittsburgh, Jamie Galentine of Sandy Lake, and Jonathan Galentine of Stoneboro, eight grandchildren Kirstin Williams, Lorelei, Nathaniel, Sean, Max, Kelsey, Joshua, and Emma Galentine, and siblings Debra Dick, Wayne Galentine, Arlene Kinney, Sally Hartner, and Betty O’Day. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his son, Scott Williams, and sister Darlene Crocker. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 6-8 pm on Monday, July 29.
