David Wallace

November 25, 1858 — January 1, 1753

David Wallace died at his Vernon Township farm on the Harmonsburg Road Monday afternoon at the age of 89 years.

Mr. Wallace was born in County Down, Ireland, and came to the US when he was 15 years old, later taking up residence at Sewickley, where he managed the estate of W. P. Snyder.

He moved to Crawford County 30 years ago and had lived at his farm home since that time.  Mr. Wallace was a member of Meadville First Presbyterian Church and the Mens' Bible Class of that church.

Surviving are daughters, Miss Florence and Miss Mary A. Wallace and a son, William S. Wallace, all at home and daughters, Mrs. Jessie Kinser of Columbus, OH and Mrs. James D. Grant of North Hills; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Sewickley Cemetery.
