David Wayne Byham, 21, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Wednesday, July 13, 1960, from head injuries sustained in a fall from a ladder while repairing a television antenna at Hillcrest house Tuesday afternoon.
Byham was born in Meadville, May 10, 1939, a son of Wayne and Dorothy Shaw Byham.
He was graduated from Meadville High School in 1957 and attended Pennsylvania State University for two years.
He had been emplyed full-time as grocery clerk by Quality Markets, Inc., North Street, while working parttime at Bob's Home Radio Sales and Service.
He was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Surviving are: his widow, the former Nancy Voltz; a three-month old son, Michael Raymond; his parents of Rushford, NY; a sister, Mrs. Wendell Kightlinger of Greenville, SC; a brother, Scott of Rushford, NY; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Tina Shaw of Meadville; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Byham of Cuba, NY.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
