Deanna M. Boyd

Deanna M. Boyd, 49, of Meadville, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from natural causes at her residence.

She was born November 21, 1972 in Long Beach, CA, a daughter of the late David Patterson and Mary M. Weaver Armour.  She had been married to Daniel C. Bailey and subsequently married Kerry D. Boyd June 7, 2014.

Deanna was a 1991 graduate of Commodore Perry High School.  She worked as a personal care associate at Golden Living Center and the Peaceful Rest Home.  She also worked at Walmart and Days Inn.

Deanna was a member of First Christian Church.  She was the volunteer president of the William Gill Village resident council since 2011 and director of their summer lunch program, Christmas and Easter parties.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Kerry, include a son, Zackery Bailey of Meadville; a step-daughter, Gabrielle Boyd of Atlantic; a step-granddaughter, Ainsley Grace Halle; a sister, Kimberly Stewart (David) of Florida; a brother, Perry Patterson (Darlene) of Meadville; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 7th from 12-2 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Robert McGuire, Pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
