Debra L. Jacobs, 63 of Milledgeville, passed away on April 10, 2023 at Meadville Medical Center.
Debra was born in Greenville on March 13, 1960, to the late Roland F. and D. Jayne (Stright) Jacobs. She was graduate of Cochranton High School. After high school she worked for Morco and then C&J Industries as a press operator.
Debra enjoyed doing puzzles and collecting rabbit figurines. In her younger years she raised pet rabbits. Her passion was growing all types of flowers and feeding the hummingbirds. Debra loved to go out to eat and socialize with her friends. She enjoyed giving friends and family gifts. Holidays were a special time, and she would take great pleasure in decorating for all of them. Most of all Debra loved her family and friends, she adored her nephew, Logan, her niece, Sarah, and her great-niece Lydia. Debra loved getting together with her family whether it was for a holiday, a picnic or even just to visit. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her siblings, David (Linda) Jacobs of Monroe, NC, Duane (Amy) Jacobs of Carlton, and Darlene (Greg) Gould of Milledgeville, her nephew, Logan Jacobs of Missoula, Montana, her niece, Sarah (Ben) Lybrook and her great-niece, Lydia Lybrook, of Meadville.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Roland F. and D. Jayne Jacobs.
The family would also like to extend their appreciation to Debra’s caregivers, Lorrie and Lisa, for their loving care over the years. They would also like to give a special thank you to Cochranton Ambulance Service for their outstanding service over the years.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Beth Creekpaum, officiating.
Interment will take place in Milledgeville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Debra’s name may be made to Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Service, PO BOX 655, Cochranton, PA 16314.
