Delores M. Chismar

Delores M. Chismar, 77, of Blooming Valley, died at home surrounded by her family, Tuesday, December 10, 2013.

She was born January 30, 1936 in Cochranton a daughter of Carl and Virginia Gable Mook.  She married Kenneth F. Chismar January 17, 1976 and he survives.

She was a school bus driver for Randolph/East Mead and worked in retail sales for several years at various local businesses retiring in 1999.  She and her husband also owned and operated the Blooming Valley Dairy Isle for many years.

She enjoyed painting, crafts, playing cards, fishing and hunting.

Survivors in addition to her husband Kenneth of 37 years, include: a son, Steven Myers of Meadville; a daughter, Debra Stallard and her husband Michael of Meadville; a step-son, Steven Chismar of Meadville; four grandsons, Shawn Rhoades and his companion Marcie Pifer, Joshua Rhoades and his wife Amanda, Zachary Myers and his wife Jen and Taylor Myers; seven great grandchildren and her cat, Rusty.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Marshall Lillie, Chaplain of Hospice of Crawford County, officiating.

Interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
