Denise Althea Proper, 47, of 141 Heuslein Road, Port Angeles, Wash., and formerly of Titusville, died Wednesday Nov. 27, 2002, in Seattle, Wash., from injuries sustained in a car-pedestrian accident.
She was born in Titusville, July 3, 1955, a daughter of Roy & Beatrice Proper. She married Gerald L. Bish, and he survives.
She had attended Titusville Public Schools, was a homemaker, and liked the out of doors, camping and flower gardening.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include 2 daughters, Tonia Marie Bish, and Maryann Bish both of Port Angeles, Wash., 3 sons, Michael J. Bish, Travis Allen Bish, and Albert Ray Bish all of Meadville, 1 step-daughter, Betty Daly of Oil City, and 4 step-sons, Jerry Sarcinella of Cambridge Springs, Chuck Sarcinella of North Carolina, Kenny Sarcinella of Meadville, and Rick Sarcinella of New Castle, 3 sisters, Patricia Proper of Titusville, Debby Biddle of Japan, and Tammy Cusac of , a half-sister, Dylis Peeples of Centerville, 2 brothers, Joseph Proper of Florida, and Martin Proper of Titusville, 2 half-brothers, David Peeples of Meadville and John Peeples of North Carolina, 19 grandchildren, and also nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St. Meadville.
The funeral and committal service will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Howard Roxbury, Lay Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Centerville.
