Desiree A. Chavez, 48, of Meadville died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Meadville Medical Center. She was born January 23, 1973 in Meadville a daughter of Andrew Hunter Klingensmith and Edith Marie Abbott Klingensmith. She was a 1991 graduate of Meadville High School and following graduation she moved to Florida where she worked at a Wawa convience store in Bradenton, Fl. She then returned to Meadville in 2019. She loved dolphins and has an extensive collection of Christmas teddy bears. She is survived by her son, Antonio Tovar Chavez of Meadville; two sisters, Wendy Oakes of Meadville and Crystal Tovar of Sarasota, FL; a brother, Michael Klingensmith of Meadville; eight nieces and nephews, Ronald Klingensmith, Kayla Oakes, Jacob Klingensmith, Juanita Tovar, Yasmine Tovar, Christian Tovar, Justin Tovar and Katalina Tovar; several cousins, including, Karen Frobotta, Bridget Sheasley, Karen Betts and Kevin Schreffler (Patty); and uncle, Merle (Gene) Schreffler; and several good friends, including Willine Arnold, Joe, Mary Ellen and Wayne P. Cosby Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Klingensmith and a niece, Bethany Marie Klingensmith. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W.
