Diana E. Daniels

Mrs. Diana E. Daniels, 89, died last evening at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Harry McDill of Meadville.

Mrs. Daniels, the daughter of Stillman and Mary Byham, was born at Mount Hope on October 28, 1847.  She was the last surviving member of her father's family.  She was married to Marcus Daniels on October 8, 1872, and they resided at Mount Hope until his death in 1908.  Since then, she had lived with her daughter here.  Her only son, Stillman J. Daniels, died two years ago.

She is survived by her daughter, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was for many years a member of Mount Hope M. E. Church.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
