Dolores J. Wampler

Mrs. Dolores J. Wampler, 41, of Meadville, died at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh, Tuesday, October 4, 1977, after an illness of one and one-half years.  She had been hospitalized one week.

Born in Meadville, December 12, 1935, she was a daughter of John F and Alma M. Fitzgerald Wolfe.  She married Mr. Wampler on July 15, 1954.  Mrs. Wampler was a member of Stone United Methodist Church; Allegheny Chapter 115, Order of the Amaranth; and Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, for which she was past matron.  She also served as a Girl Scout leader in Meadville and Saegertown.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John S. and Eric B., both at home and her parents of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
