Dolores Romaine Haemer

Dolores Romaine Haemer, 81, of 582 Limber Rd., Meadville, died Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born May 6, 1921 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Elmer and Edith Curty Kightlinger.  She married John R. Haemer January 27, 1945.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked at Isaly’s, S and H Green Stamp Store, ICA Collection Agency, Meadville Housing Authority, and Spaulding’s, Inc.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include 2 daughters, Candace Maloney and her husband Ronald of Cochranton and Sharon Prenatt and her husband Terry of Meadville; 8 grandchildren, John and Tom Hardenburg, Shelly Buckee, Jeffrey Klie, Kimberly and Travis Maloney, Jodie Deal, and Julie Prenatt; and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores (Dodie) Smith and a brother, Lyle Kightlinger.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with Rev. Timothy Solomon, Pastor of Emmanuel United Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
