Donald O. Rushlander

Donald O. Rushlander, 82, of Guys Mills, died Sunday June 10, 1990, at Wesbury United Methodist Community following an extended illness.

He was born in Randolph Township, May 19, 1908, a son of Augustus D. and Ethel Briggs Rushlander.  He married Jane Cook on September 28, 1940.  She survives.

He retired in 1971 from his position as a utility man with Penelec following 27 years of service.  He was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, had served in the National Guard with Company B. and was a member of Blooming Valley VFD.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a brother, J. Charles Rushlander of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Malone and Evelyn Rushlander and two brothers, Clayton and Grandin Rushlander.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
