Donald “Web” E. Webster, 82, of Stoneboro, passed away at home on June 17, after a long battle with dementia.
He was born on January 15, 1940 in Grove City, to the late Frank and Ruth (Stevenson). He was a 1958 graduate of Lakeview High School.
Following graduation, Donald served his country by joining the Navy. After serving, he worked as a welder for 20 years at Westinghouse in Sharon, PA.
Donald enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, and fishing. He especially enjoyed fishing with his brother-in-law, Tony Buckley.
He married his loving wife, Margaret (Moyer) on July 16, 1966. This July would have marked 56 years of marriage. He is also survived by his daughters, Yvonne (Larry) Eppinger of Harrisville, Pennsylvania and Melissa (Dominic) Peyton of Ellicott City, Maryland; two grandchildren Jasmine (fiancé Kevin) Peyton and Isaiah Peyton.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, brother, and 2 brother-in-laws.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 11 am – 2 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2 pm with the Rev. Matthew Bupp, Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery where military honors will be rendered by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.
