Donna J. Haugh

Donna J. Haugh, 62, of Meadville, died at home Monday, December 29, 2014.

She was born May 25, 1952 in Meadville a daughter of Rev. Richard C. and Dorothy Jean Sullivan Haugh.

She was a 1970 graduate of Meadville High School, was licensed as a dental assistant in 1971, received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from the Crawford County Vo-Tech and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Edinboro University in 2002.  She worked at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Rolling Fields Nursing Home and the Crawford County Care Center.  Previously, she had owned and operated the Market Street Cheese and Specialty Shop for several years.

She was very active in 4-H showing horses throughout the area.  She also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crafts and cooking.  She was a member of the St. Mark’s Church.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Haugh of Meadville; a brother, Charles P. Haugh and his wife Judi of Cambridge Springs; a niece, Kelly Ann Wintemute and her husband William of Corry; a nephew, Chad Alan Haugh and his wife Megan of Edinboro; two great nephews, Jacob Thomas Haugh and Owen Lee Wintemute and a great niece, Emma Grace Haugh.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Richard C. Haugh.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.

The funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Hines, Pastor of St. Mark’s Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
