Donna Jean Barnhart

Donna Jean Barnhart, 72, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born December 26, 1946 in Geneva, PA, a daughter of Lewis and Ruth Fox Van Squik Orr.  She married James D. Barnhart May 20, 1964 and he survives.

Jean attended Conneaut Lake High School and worked in food service at Meadville Medical Center for 14 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Jim, include four children, James Barnhart, Jr. (Heather) of Big Pool, MD, Julie Busher (Ray) of Mansfield, TX, Joseph Barnhart (Alice) of Meadville, and Jennifer Barnhart Stein of Meadville; nine grandchildren, Lindsay Busher-Huppertz (Pascal), Austin, Mackenzie and Andrew Busher and Kaitlyn, Breanna, Kirsten, Karissa and Jason Barnhart; a great-grandson, Grayson Busher; two sisters, Pat Field (Fred) of Conneautville and Norene Clark of Memphis, TN; a brother, Ronald Orr (Beverly) of Linesville; a sister-in-law, Janet Orr of Conneaut Lake and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Orr.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 23rd from 2-5 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A memorial service will be Monday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty St., Meadville with Rev. Dr. Brian Jensen officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
