Donna L. Lloyd

Donna L. Lloyd, 62, of Meadville, died Friday, April 20, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born April 17, 1939 in Leechburg, a daughter of Ralph D. and Pauline M. Peters Brunton.  She married Robert E. Lloyd August 27, 1960 and he survives.

She was a 1957 graduate of Grove City High School and subsequently graduated in December 1957 from Humboldt Institute of Traffic, Minneapolis, MN with a degree in airline reservations and traffic management.  She worked as a reservation agent for Burlington Northern Railroad in Chicago from 1958 to 1963.  She was a secretary for seven years for Bob's TV and Appliance of Meadville and was also manager for over 24 years of Lloyd's Speed Wash of Conneaut Lake, retiring in 1998.  She was a former member of the Iroquois Club and she especially enjoyed cross-stitching time with her family.

She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, its bell choir and was a former Sunday School and Bible School teacher.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 40 years, include her mother, Pauline Brunton of Grove City; two sons, Douglas S. Lloyd (Shelley) and Brian K. Lloyd (Tracey), all of Meadville; one daughter, Kimberly K. Corey (Dennis) of Harmony; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer K. Lloyd, John M. Crandall, Joshua R. Crandall, Adam K. Lloyd, Aaron M. Lloyd, Alec D. Lloyd, R. Thomas Lloyd, Cade D. Corey, Keegan C. Corey, Trista Corey and Channing Corey; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and three infant sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
