Donna M. Heckman

Donna M. Heckman, 64, of Meadville, died Wednesday, May 10, 1989, at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a sudden illness.

She was born in Meadville on May 9, 1925, a daughter of George and Geraldine Richards Dearborn.  She married Paul M. Heckman June 10, 1945.

Mrs. Heckman was employed by the Office of Employment Security as an interviewer for 10 years.  She was previously employed by FMC and Talon.  She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.  She was a graduate of Hutchinson Central High School in Buffalo in 1943.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Penny) Luther of Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, FL; a son, Gary L. Heckman of Meadville; her foster mother, Marie Burns of Buffalo, NY; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Dearborn.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Huber Cemetery.
